Customs House, Sydney- 28 September 2011: AirRoad was successful in being awarded with the Merit Award in the Robert Lamb Leadership in Logistics Customer Support, Systems and Service at the LAA's (Logistics Association of Australia) 25th Anniversary Awards Dinner held at Customs House. The award recognises innovation and continuous improvement in supply chain customer service across a number of logistics industry categories.
AirRoad's Customer Service team has over 120 years of combined experience and uses this tenure, experience and teamwork to consistently provide personalised responses to client needs. National Client Support Manager, Christine Goodchild says, "Our mission is to deliver certainty to our clients and their customers by always being accessible and personal. We want them to know that their deliveries are a priority for us and that we are working diligently to ensure that they enjoy a positive customer service experience."
AirRoad has a Customer Service team in each state depot and a centralised call centre in its Sydney head office. A dedicated 1300 phone number has also been set up that leads call centres directly to a support line, when they can speak to a knowledgeable freight consultant.
We would like to congratulate all our Customer Service team members on this remarkable achievement and wish them the very best.
