AirRoad Recognised for Quality Management

November 3, 2011, Lidcombe NSW: As a leading provider of express transport services in Australia, the management system of AirRoad’s Lidcombe depot has now been certified to ISO 9001 standard for over fifteen years.

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognized standard for the quality management of businesses.

The requirements of ISO 9001:2008 are accepted by AirRoad in maintaining consistent quality performance along with the continual monitoring of service to seek ongoing improvement. Surveillance audits are conducted periodically by independent third parties and also by AirRoad staff.

AirRoad manager Jan Egan says, “At AirRoad, we are committed to delivering the best service we can to our customers. We are always working towards continuous improvement and apply what we learn to increase operational efficiencies. We are proud of our ISO certification, which demonstrates our commitment to quality.”

All of AirRoad’s depots are now certified to ISO 9001 standard for its core distribution business.
