Senko recognises value in AirRoad’s premium Australian distribution services
Lidcombe, May 3 2021: The AirRoad Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Senko Group Holdings Co. Ltd, a leading Japanese logistics company, has acquired a majority shareholding in AirRoad Pty Ltd.
AirRoad has an established reputation in Australia as a leading provider of premium services in national road express, specialised transportation and supply chain services. The AirRoad capability, which has been carefully developed over more than 30 years, services primarily a blue-chip base of large multinational clients. Importantly for the AirRoad and Senko partnership, AirRoad’s national distribution footprint and outstanding service performance with time-critical deliveries will continue to be highly valued in the growing Australian market.
For current AirRoad clients, there will be benefits in working with Senko to strategically develop a more efficient warehouse and depot footprint in Australia. The Senko partnership will also bring additional benefits in relation to logistics services due to Senko’s wealth of knowledge and capability in this field and the use of world-leading technology.
