NSW and QLD Linehaul Services Resume

14 November 2019: Linehaul services out of Sydney into major depots in regional NSW have resumed with the reopening of the Pacific Highway (Northbound) at Nabiac along the North Coast. Areas between Taree and Lismore, as well as the New England region continue to be affected by the bushfires.
Also note, that our linehaul services between Sydney and Brisbane are now running as per their normal schedules. There might however be slight delays due to a small backlog.

13 November 2019: Linehaul services have resumed as per normal transit times in Tamworth, Taree, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Grafton and Lismore.
Please note that there are still areas within the network that are affected by the fires. We will continue to assess the situation as conditions improve and roads re-open. We appreciate your patience.

12 November 2019: AirRoad will not be running any linehaul services between its Sydney and Brisbane depots due to the extreme and unpredictable bushfires. We are currently working with local authorities to assess whether we can resume these services tomorrow.

Next day freight travelling to Northern NSW from Sydney will continue to be held till conditions improve.
——
11 November 2019: Due to the severe bushfires in northern NSW between Taree and Lismore, there will be no linehaul services running to Taree, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Grafton and Lismore.

Our network has considered alternative routes, but these were deemed high risk and extremely dangerous. We are continuing to liaise with local authorities and emergency services to see when we can safely get our vehicles back on the road.

Please note that all freight despatched to northern NSW from Sydney on Friday (November 8) for delivery on Monday (November 11) has been held. We will continue to update this page once services start running and information becomes available.

We appreciate your understanding and our thoughts are with our firefighters and those who have been affected by the bushfires.
